10 Cozy Games to Romanticise Your ‘Ber’ Months (in 2026)
No offense, but you look like you could use foggy mornings, pumpkin spiced pastries and and a day of cozy gaming.

The following games are for informational purposes only. Please read my disclaimer for more information.
The ‘ber months (that’s September, October, November and December) are upon us and I’m soooo ready for them.
So if summer could just pack it’s things up and move on that’d be grand.
My phone is already warning me of ‘Moderate Thunderstorms’ like it’s a sign to pull out the candles. Hands up if you love a good thunderstorm 🙌
I’ve been covering cozy fall games for 4 years now and every time I’m in awe of how beautiful a game can look (and feel) in this season. The orange hues, the rain, the crunchy sounds. Pass me my hot water bottle and my controller because I’m already there!
2026 really said “I’m so sad summer is over. Not hahahahaha… ha.” It’s been the driest summer on record, so much so that the trees went into hibernation and started shedding their leaves. The months really went July, Nope, September this year.
Normally I would share some recommendations of past games I’ve played throughout these seasons but there are a few games I’m really looking forward to this year so I’ve listed those too.
So let’s take a look at some games to romanticise your ‘ber months in 2026.

Releases Sept 16 on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2
Woodo is a cozy 3D puzzle game where you gently piece together little dioramas. It feels like opening a beloved childhood toy, inviting you into a peaceful, safe world filled with warmth and joy. Follow the story of Foxy and Ben the frog through a series of interconnected dioramas, each capturing a unique moment from their shared adventure.
I played the demo for Woodo over a year ago and have been patiently waiting for the full release. You know I’ll be playing the full game on my YouTube channel when it releases right? It’s perfect for parents who want to play video games with their littlies.

2
Dressmaker
Release date Sept 21 2026 on Steam
Dressmaker is a cozy game about making dresses. Inspired by real-world dressmaking (but not requiring any prior knowledge) Dressmaker gives you creative control over every part of making dresses, from simple summer dresses to extravagant royal gowns. A variety of townsfolk commission you to make unique dresses according to their own tastes and to match events on their social calendar.
With a degree in fashion that focused heavily on design, pattern cutting, fashion history, and trend forecasting I am intrigued to see if this game can make me want to pick up a needle again. My first business was making evening wear and someone approached me after my final year fashion show. Should I play this on my channel too? Let me know in the comments.

6
Witchbrook
Release date Q4 2026 on Steam, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2
Witchbrook is an upcoming isometric pixel-art life simulation and social RPG and is now (according to PC gamer) one of Steam’s most-wishlisted games. It was on my must-play list for 2025 AND 2026, but here we are, still awaiting its release. the team behind the game are actively publishing news about the ongoing updates but haven’t released an exact date for its release yet.

7
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood
Available on Steam and Nintendo Switch
A Tarot deckbuilding narrative game about Witches in outer space. Craft your own Tarot deck and navigate the intricacies of Cosmic Witch society. Follow Fortuna’s journey of self-discovery and the profound repercussions her choices hold for both her Coven and the wider world.
Released back in 2023 (how has it been 3 years already?!) the story of Fortuna and her friends still lives rent free in my head. It’s the best tarot game I’ve played and I’m patiently waiting for another to take that spotlight from this game.

8
Moonlight Peaks
Available on Steam, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2
Experience life as a vampire in a magical town full of werewolves, witches, mermaids, and more! In this supernatural life-sim, you will raise mystical crops, learn spell-casting and potion-making, and befriend – or even romance – the locals.
I feel like Moonlight Peaks peaked too early. It was released in July of this year but it is going to be my go-to game throughout witchy season. I’ve not fully completed it yet, and I put it down after I reviewed it. But I want to revisit it and pay it at my leisure, do some decorating and enjoy it without the pressure of rushing through to write a review.

9
Winter Burrows
Available on Steam, Nintendo Switch & coming soon to the App Store and Google Play
Winter Burrow is a cozy winter game where you play as a mouse who has returned from life in the big city only to find that your childhood home is in ruins. You’ll need to fix it back up, and help out your aunt, but the frozen wilderness makes it quite the challenge. I rarely play cozy survival games but this was worth it, and had options to turn off the scaries.
Released November last year, my husband and I completed the game back-to-back. I’ll be revisiting the burrow to play the updates that I missed out on and finally decorate my burrow in time for Christmas.

10
