Cozy games are like rain on a summers evening. They soothe over stimulation and help you relax.

Atleast that’s what they are supposed to do. There have been a lot of awful cash grabs between 2022 and now with devs piggybacking off popular titles like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing.

That’s why I started this blog, to cut through the slop.

So here’s the deal… I don’t own a PlayStation (don’t all click off at once okay!) but, I know many of my readers do. And you’ve been subtly asking me to share some cozy games you can play on PlayStation’s subscription plan – PlayStation Plus.

This is me meeting you where you are. I am diving into the games I know you’ll love, on the platform you already play on… just not me *cries in Switch 2*.

When I think ofย PlayStation gamesย my first thought isn’t a wholesome farming sim or relaxing puzzle game. It’s all-guns-blazing looter shooters, survival horror games, simulations, and high-octane racing.

PS4 and PS5 have come a long way in terms of what games it offers though.

They even have a section on their website promoting cosy games, a mindfulness and wellbeing list and an adorable animals and companions category. It’s so nice to see these games getting the attention they deserve.

There is actually a wide variety of games in the PlayStation Plus catalog to choose from.

So swan dive into your comfiest jim-jams and grab your fav controller. Here are my top picks from the PS Plus collection of games.

The BEST Cozy Games on PlayStation Plus This Year!

Just a quick heads up before you dive in, some of these games may be part of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium collection. That means you’ll need to double check you can play the games below before getting excited. Check out which subscription plan you need by searching for the game you want to play first on theย PlayStation site.

Side Note

The choice of games offered on PlayStation Plus changes monthly The games on this list were correct at the time of publishing in July 2026.
