10 Best Cozy Games for 2025 Already On My Wishlist
Finally, I can talk about all the best cozy games releasing in 2025. It feels like it’s been forever since I had the time to sit down and play a new video game.
Working a 9-5 and running a side business kinda takes up all my time these days.

I tried playing Hogwarts Legacy but I got bored with all the fetch quests. Seriously, the only thing I’ve been playing lately is the mobile game Snake.io during my lunch breaks at work.
So it’s definitely time for a new game.
I know there’s some amazing games coming out this year that I won’t be able to put down! Games with cute animals, farming and cozy corners.
Honestly, management Sims are my go-to quite frankly. If I get to be in control of a little town or manage a quaint shop then I’m sold. I just love business management. Does that make me dull?
Anyway, I won’t hold off any longer. Let’s take a look at my 10 most anticipated cozy games releasing this year.

1
Two Point Museum
You’ve cured lightheadedness in Two Point Hospital. Taught students how to ace their class in Two Point Campus. Now it’s time to curate your own museum exhibits in Two Point Museum.
There are 5 different museum types to play and they’re introducing kids to the roster of guests you’ll need to manage. I can’t wait for this game!
Two Point Campus was a top tier management game for me, so much so I’m on my 3rd play through of it. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment of the franchise.
Two Point Museum releases 4th of March.

2
Tavern Keeper
But if museums are a bit stuffy for you why not head on down to your local tavern for a brew instead.
Tavern Keeper is a charming fantasy business SIM with the coziest of pubs. Hire new staff, meet adventurers and be your own boss.
I think that’s the main reason I love management Sims so much. I just want to run my businesses my way.
It’s like the Devs watched Tangled and decided they were gonna make a game based on the Snuggly Duckling pub. And if I get to name my tavern that’s exactly what I’m going to call it!
Tavern Keeper doesn’t have an official release date yet but I’ll keep you posted.

3
Loftia
Build a community in the sky in Loftia. This cozy farming SIM is already making waves among cozy gamers. It’s an MMO so you’ll be able to play with your friends and work together to build a sustainable world.
You’ll spend hours decorating your own island and you can even upcycle old materials and reclaim items to save them from life in the rubbish tip.
I’ll be connecting my island with my husbands to create our own little Neighborhood. I know this will be his new game addiction because we’ve been searching for a new game to play together.
But we’ll have to wait a bit longer because Loftia isn’t due to be released until December 2025. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get pushed to 2026.

4
Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Hello Kitty Adventure Island is finally coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam this month after it was so popular on mobile. And would you believe it was my husband who said I had to buy this game on release!
Hello Kitty Adventure Island is like Animal Crossing with the kawaii factor dialled up to 100!
Embark on a cozy, open-world adventure with Hello Kitty and Friends. Befriend beloved characters as you explore and restore a mysterious island, solve ancient puzzles, cook delicious dishes, customize yourself and your cabins, and so much more.

5
Ages of Cataria
Now turn back the clocks to 2022 when your girl was a fresh blogger learning how to write game reviews.
Well I found this game called Ages of Cataria on Kickstarter and fell instantly in love, wrote a gushing blog post about it and then… nothing. I kinda forgot it existed tbh. I’m not one for really following Devs journeys, I just want to know when the game is ready to play.
Well, it’s slated for a Spring release this year.
Ages of Cataria is a village story generator, a colony sim where you Learn your villager’s stories as they grow up and eventually pass away. You get to choose your origin story. Will you pick humans or elves?

6
Good Coffee Great Coffee
You’ve probably heard of Good Pizza Great Pizza. I mean, I’ve played a lot of it on my YouTube channel.
Well the makers at TapBlaze have only gone and made a spin-off, I could cry right now.
In Good Coffee Great Coffee you run your own coffee shop. Prepare delicious drinks, experiment with new flavors, decorate your shop, and manage cafe costs to become the best barista in town!
There’s charming scenery, relaxing BGM, and ASMR sounds to compliment your coffee-making experience! Customizable and collectible cozy coffee shop decorations and more!
You can pick this up on mobile next month. I’m going to be playing this so much in my lunch breaks. Oh and it’s free-to-play!

7
Bits & Bops
Bits & Bops is a departure from my usual collection of game recs but I played the demo for this over 2 years ago and I couldn’t put it down.
Bits & Bobs is a collection of original rhythm mini-games! Filled with catchy music, snappy gameplay and gorgeous, hand-drawn animation You’ll be tapping your feet along too. And it’s out very soon!

8
Fantastic Haven
Fantastic Haven is another management sim I’m excited about. In a world where magic is gradually disappearing in favor of technological advances that threaten the balance, you play the role of the Elders, protectors of the continent.
While the inhabitants prefer to hunt the creatures of this once great land, your mission is to restore the balance by saving them all.
Your objective is to look after their well-being and needs until they can be reintroduced back into nature, thus contributing to the gradual restoration of magic. Build your shelter and protect all the adorable animals in Fantastic Haven, releasing very soon.

9
Dream Garden
If you’re wanting more creativity in 2025 then how about a sandbox game like Tiny Glade but for gardens?
Campfire Studios launches their next game Dream Gardens this year. Dream Garden is a simulation game about building tiny cute garden dioramas.
You can create any kind of garden you want: whether it’s a classic Japanese Zen garden or a garden with a pond, fish and lily pads – it’s all up to you. Change the landscape, add rivers or lakes, create hills, change the garden fill to sand, grass or pebbles.
Dream Gardens is the meditative game I need right now.

10
Rich Dad Simulator
And last but by no means least is a game that is probably not cozy to you but I know it will be for me.
Rich Dad Simulator is like Supermarket Sim but takes it one step further. Run your own chain of markets.
Start from a small shop to the biggest business in town. Manage staff, control inventory, set prices, and keep customers happy. Build new locations and expand your retail empire to become the king of retail!
As you know I used to work in a supermarket so I do like games that let me have complete control over my own little shop.
But if you can’t wait for this cozy games to release I have a whole list of management games available right now on Nintendo Switch.
