15 Cozy Games on Google Play Pass I Refuse to Delete (in 2026)
Lately I’ve had a few conversations with friends about cozy games on Google Play Pass, specifically, why it is that they are so few and far between. SO today I’m revealing no less than 15 games that won’t be deleting.

I’m a long-time Pixel phone owner.
I used to have an iPhone but I’m never going back. I’m not interested in having all the latest trendy tech, just stuff that works.
I have 2 Pixels actually – the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 10a. After I paid off the 8 I decided to keep it for the camera and upgrade to a 10a for personal use (the camera isn’t as good).
The only thing I miss about being an Android user now is the iPhone exclusive games. I’ve mentioned a few of them on my last post.
Android gets most of these games eventually. Some Apple Arcade games though take years to show up on Google Play, if they show up at all, and I have had entire hobbies last less time than that.
So I wait, or I buy it on Steam.
Today, specifically, I’m covering cozy games on Google Play Pass because I hate ads. I love Play Pass because some items that would normally have micro-transactions or force you to wait days to earn gems to spend on cosmetics are free and immediately available.
It’s a subscription to over 1,000 games and apps, all offered without ads or in-app purchases (mostly). It’s only a selection, not the whole of Google Play, and you can share it with your family through Family Library if you want. My husband gets it free because I have it. Ain’t he lucky.
Google says every game is hand-picked… but never explains who picks them or how. So I played every game below myself to see if it earned a spot on this list (and the title of cozy). I’ve got all the time in the world apparently.
But enough rambling. Here are 15 cozy games on Google Play Pass you can play right now.
The Google Play Pass Cozy Games List

1
Discounty
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and iOS
It’s a classic supermarket buy & sell for profit type store. — Google Play Review
You run the only supermarket in a small harbor town: ordering stock, laying out the aisles and working the till, then exploring after closing time to see who in town wants you gone (there’s a lot of drama). I covered the game in my Discounty review, so I won’t make you read it twice.
The mobile version released in August 2026, a full year after the Steam release, but you’re not getting a cut-down version. I played the Switch 2 version first and then Steam second, but was curious what it would be like to play on my phone. I can tell you I preferred it. It’s a lot quicker to stock shelves and move around. If I had to pick one platform over the other I would pick mobile.

2
Monument Valley 3
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and iOS
I absolutely love the graphics and the stunning isometric art. — App Store Review
You play Noor, an apprentice trying to find a new power source before the light of the world fades. The puzzles are the series’ usual: you twist and rotate impossible architecture until a path appears. The new part is her boat. You sail it freely between puzzles, and each chapter adds a mechanic of its own, so you’re never solving the same puzzle twice.
It came out as a Netflix-only game in December 2024, then reached PC and consoles in July 2025. Android got a standalone release on 3 December 2025, along with a free expansion, The Garden of Life, which adds 4 new chapters. I find most puzzles take me minutes to complete, if that. I play it for the cute graphics and to pass time more than anything.

3
Bunny Haven: Cute Cafe
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS
I installed when they very first launched and have been absolutely hooked since! — Google Play Review
You run a bunny rescue sanctuary. You adopt rescued bunnies, decorate the garden they live in, and run a garden cafe, serving customer orders and pairing the customers with the bunnies. Each bunny has its own markings, colors and personality, and the species are inspired by real rabbits.
The developer also built a companion site with bunny care tips and ways to find local sanctuaries. I find it a bit of mindless fun that doesn’t need my full attention so I can play it while I’m travelling.

4
Cooking Mama: Cook Time!
Available on: Google Play Pass
Only worth if getting free via playpass. — Google Play Review
You cook one dish at a time through quick mini-games, chopping with a knife, adjusting the heat and finishing each dish’s own steps with your fingertip. Finish a dish to unlock more recipes, and replay it to unlock harder difficulty levels. There’s no restaurant to run, no farm and no fishing, so it’s cooking and nothing else.
If it feels familiar, that’s because it’s a cut-down relative of Cooking Mama: Let’s Cook!. It uses recipes from that game but leaves out the farming, fishing and restaurant side, so it’s just the cooking. It’s normally a paid game, but whose paying $24.99 for a mobile game? Be fr. Get it on Play Pass.

5
Forgotton Anne
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and iOS
Beautiful animation style and a really engaging story. — Google Play Review
You play Anne, an Enforcer who keeps order in the Forgotten Lands, a parallel world where lost objects come to life and hope to be remembered. Her Arca drains the Anima (energy) from these living objects, and that same energy powers the puzzles you solve as you go. Anne has been sent to stop a rebellion that could stop her and her master from ever getting home.
If you love games that remind you of Studio Ghibli then play Forgotton Anne.

6
SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Apple Arcade
I’m on level 342, and it’s still excellent.— Google Play Review
Now for the only match-3 game on this list. Because we all have one of those on our phones. It’s a tap-based matching puzzle starring San-X characters like Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi. Tap, match, and clear levels, collect new characters and use their special-skills to help you finish each game.
It’s a gacha game, which means you spend rubies to draw random characters. On Play Pass, though, I never had to pay for anything extra. Play Pass users get free rubies every Wednesday (you have to collect them yourself), so you can save them up to buy new characters or spend them on Lucky Draw Points.
It’s one of my favorite Candy Crush-style games. I have a bad habit of playing it before bed and then not being able to stop. I’m like, “just one more level.” Every. Single. Level.

7
Hidden Through Time 2: Magic
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS and PlayStation
This game and all the Hidden through time games are absolutely amazing! — Google Play Review
It’s a hidden object game set in hand-drawn worlds, where you hunt for objects across 4 magical eras, each with its own storyline. The twist is Reality Shift, which switches a map between states like day and night or summer and winter. Some objects only show up in one of those states, so you end up searching the same scene twice.
I’m a sucker for hidden object games. They take me back to my childhood.

8
Hungry Hearts Diner: Memories
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS
It has a story that gives you the feels. — Google Play Review
It’s a story-driven diner sim set in Showa-era Japan. You run the diner alongside an elderly couple, cooking meals, making deliveries and getting to know the regulars, who each have their own backstory. Some dishes bring up memories and prompt personal confessions from the customers.

9
Potion Permit
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and iOS
It’s sort of Stardew Valley-esque. — Google Play Review
You play a chemist in the town of Moonbury, brewing potions for the people who live there. Brewing works through minigames, you forage for ingredients, and the town’s residents can become friends or more. You can also upgrade the town’s buildings, and your dog helps out.

10
Mini Puzzles: Daily Challenges
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS
Puzzles are short, so you can drop in for a quick diversion — Google Play Review
It’s a collection of 30+ short puzzles, including Sudoku, Minesweeper, Word Scramble, Math Crossword, Pipes and Memory Pairs. The daily challenge gives every player the same puzzle, which you race against the clock for a bronze, silver or gold star. Your times feed a weekly leaderboard.
These type of games remind me of the ones you used to get in the newspaper (do people still buy those?).

11
A Little to the Left
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, macOS and iOS
A whimsical and challenging game with its unique art style and relaxing music. — Google Play Review
You sort, stack and arrange everyday household objects until they sit in the right spot. The puzzles are hidden among ordinary clutter, most have more than one solution, and a mischievous cat knocks things around while you work. There are over 100 levels, plus a Daily Tidy puzzle and seasonal puzzles.
What I adore about this game is that most puzzles don’t have just 1 answer. It makes going back to a level worth it (the stars only fill all the way if you find every answer). I’m not much for 100 percenting a game, but I’ve certainly been giving A Little to the Left a good try. You can read my review of A Little to the Left plus find games just like it across platforms.

12
TOEM: A Photo Adventure
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S, and iOS
I forgot my woes by helping the characters at each destination. — Google Play Review
You play a young photographer climbing a mountain to see the mysterious Toem. Your camera is the puzzle tool: you photograph things for people, shift your perspective and clear obstacles, like scaring off the birds bothering a ferryman so he’ll take you across. The world is Scandinavian-inspired and drawn in monochrome, with characters to help and befriend along the way.
It’s the sort of game you need more than 5 minutes to play, so play it on your lunch break.

13
Wind Peaks
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
I enjoyed all the little details, such as so many things to click. — Google Play Review
It’s a hidden object and puzzle game with 10 hand-drawn levels. You find every hidden object in a level to trigger a story cutscene, so the game’s whole pull is seeing what happens next. It’s from Actoon Studio, who also published it.
I found some of the levels quite challenging, more so that Hidden Through Time 2. Choose this if you don’t mind a challenge.

14
Cozy Home: Comfy Coloring Book
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS
Great for kids as well, not just adults, as it gives a lot of freedom for creativity. — Google Play Review
It’s a digital coloring book of home-themed pages, such as bedrooms, kitchens, bookshops and cafes. It’s coloring, not decorating, so you’re filling in hand-drawn pages with bold lines and large areas, using palettes, custom colors and gradients. There’s also a community feature for sharing your artwork and a real-time shared coloring mode.
I don’t normally like these types of mindful coloring games, mainly because I can’t tell if the art was made with AI or not. This game though stated in the description that it doesn’t use AI art at time of writing this.

15
Quilts and Cats of Calico
Available on: Google Play Pass
Also on: iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
This game is hands down a quality board game for the android! — Google Play Review
It’s a puzzle game based on the board game Calico. You place quilt patches to build designs, and matching colors and patterns score more points. Cats roam the board while you play, and you attract the ones that like your quilt. You can also customize your own cat.
This is another game, like Discounty, that I prefer to play on mobile.
