As the leaves begin to turn, and a crisp breeze fills the air, it’s the perfect time to play some cozy witchy games.
Ever since I caught my first episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch back in the late ’90s, I’ve been obsessed with witches. I mean, who wouldn’t want magical powers and a talking cat sidekick, right?
I even used to visit fortune tellers and tarot readers, secretly hoping they’d predict a future where I’d turn out to be someone magical.
Instead, I became fascinated by the occult.
I bought my first oracle deck when I was 16 and I’ve amassed quite a collection in the last 20-odd years. My favorite is the classic Rider-Waite tarot for its colorful depictions and symbolism.
