27 Best Cozy Games on PlayStation Plus (in 2026)
Did you know PlayStation Plus has a stonking great big library of games to play? But how many of them are actually cozy?
If youโre after relaxing games on PlayStation Plus I’ve shifted through their catalogue so you don’t have to. For nights when your brain wonโt switch off and you just need to take the edge off your day, these games are sure to make you feel good.

So here’s the deal… I don’t own a PlayStation (don’t all click off at once okay!) but, I know many of my readers do. And you’ve been subtly asking me to share some cozy games you can play on PlayStation Plus.
This is me meeting you where you are. I am diving into the games I know you’ll love, on the platform you already play on… just not me *cries in Nintendo Switch*.
When I think ofย PlayStation gamesย my first thought isn’t a wholesome farming sim or relaxing puzzle game. It’s all-guns-blazing looter shooters, survival horror games, simulations, and high-octane racing. I grew up with a pair of brothers who were obsessed with GTA on PlayStation 2 and 3. Which I played it too once upon a time.
PS4 and PS5 have come a long way in terms of what games it offers.
They even have a section on their website promoting cosy games. They even have a mindfulness and wellbeing page and an adorable animals and companions category. It’s so nice to see these games getting the attention they deserve. It’s simply brilliant!
What is PlayStation Plus?
If youโve stumbled across this subscription service perhaps on someone elseโs console, it’s okay, hereโs the quick lowdown:
- PlayStation Plus is a paid subscription for PlayStation players. Sony’s subscription service for games on console and PC gives you access to a library of hundreds of games. Choose from 3 plans – PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium.
- It gives you access to a rotating library of games you can download and play while youโre subscribed.
- New games get added regularly, so thereโs always something new to poke around in.
- You can try games you might never buy outright, which is brilliant for those small cozy games.
- Itโs a lovely way to discover gentle indie games alongside the big blockbuster stuff.
- You can download games directly to the console, no discs.
For cozy gamers itโs especially nice because it lets you experiment without pressure. Try something new. If itโs not your cup of tea, no harm done. I’ve played many new cozy games included with PlayStation Plus.
That said… and I want to be honest with you here… the very best platforms for cozy games are still PC and Nintendo Switch. The libraries are bigger, the indie scene is richer, and thereโs just more choice overall.
If youโd like to browse hundreds of cozy games, these two guides are where the real treasure is:
PlayStation Plus is a lovely starting point. But PC and Switch are where the cozy gaming scene really opens up. And once you fall inโฆ well. Donโt say I didnโt warn you.
The Coziest Games on PlayStation Plus Right Now (2026)

So swan dive into your comfiest jim-jams and grab your favorite controller. Here are my top picks from the PS Plus collection of games.
